Release the pressure & set yourself free

a tightrope walk, balancing the need to please others with the constant weight of negative thoughts pulling you down.

EACH DAY FEELS LIKE…

The stream of racing thoughts makes it hard to focus on your seemingly never-ending to-do list. Your work might be suffering—like you're barely treading water—struggling to meet even the minimum expectations. Sometimes when things don’t go as planned, the guilt sets in, and that devil on your shoulder becomes the prevailing soundtrack of your inner dialogue.

You might find yourself agreeing to everything, not because you want to, but because you can't bear to let anyone down. It’s like you're losing yourself, drowning in obligations and expectations. You push yourself to keep up—like you always have—but it feels like you’re running on empty.

The knot in your stomach feels like it's getting bigger as all your energy is poured into meeting everyone else’s needs, putting your own on the backburner…again. This could be putting a strain on your relationships, with more misunderstandings and rising tensions. You might be saying, “there’s got to be a better way,” or “is my life going to feel like this forever?” Maybe if you could just reach your goals or figure out some different way to approach things, you’d be more at peace and less stressed out.

Unlock the courage to say “no” and the confidence to say “yes” to what really matters.

MAYBE YOU’RE…

  • Wishing you didn’t care so much, but it feels impossible

  • Feeling stuck, even though you know you’re trying to change

  • In a cycle of self-loathing, like you wish you were somebody else

  • Replaying phrases in your head like “I can’t do this anymore”

  • Drowning in the chaos, like you don’t have any time for yourself

  • Feeling unorganized and overwhelmed

  • Lacking confidence in personal decisions, looking for others to tell you what to do

  • Stressed out, like there’s no relief in sight

Therapy Process

Let’s take this one step at a time and get you where you want to be.

What you’re experiencing right now is hard, and I want you to know that your feelings are valid and real. Life can throw some serious curveballs, and when you're dealing with anxiety and the constant pressure to please everyone, it can feel like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. You are not alone.

As a therapist, I pride myself on creating a warm, inviting environment where you can feel free to work through your challenges, identify where they’re coming from, and set goals that lead to the life you want.

Sometimes when we begin to “peel back the onion layer” of stress, we see different core beliefs or past experiences that might be related to your anxiety and need to please others. As we continue our work together, you’ll learn new ways to cope with the stress, anxiety, and uncertainty that comes up in your day-to-day life.

I see myself as a guide walking alongside you as you navigate what you’re feeling and become who you want to be. It can be hard work, but with consistency it’s possible to break free from the stress and anxiety you’re feeling stuck in and embrace the confidence, coping skills, and healthy boundaries you’re looking for.
